Welcome Dr. Linda Lukacs

Dr. Linda Lukacs

Dr. Linda Lukacs (pronounced Lucas) joined our practice in November 2016.

She brings a strong background in diagnosing and treating TMJ disorders as well as experience in oral appliance therapy for snoring and sleep apnea.

Although she has an exceptional academic foundation she also brings with her the caring attitude that you would expect from a person who was a registered nurse before entering dental school.

I look forward to her adding to our available days and hours to help us serve an even greater number of patients.

Linda Lukacs, RN, DDS

Dr. Linda Lukacs graduated from New York University in 2000. While in dental school she was inducted to OKU, the dental honor society and was the recipient of the prestigious NYU Goldberg Pediatric and Orthodontic Award for Excellence. Dr. Lukacs currently works in our office 2 days a week and is also a tenured Professor of Dental Hygiene, lecturing in Pathology, Pharmacology, Head and Neck Anatomy, and a number of other courses at our local dental hygiene program.

Dr. Lukacs maintained a general dental practice prior to specializing and focusing her practice to TMJD, Sleep Disordered Breathing Disorders and Myofascial pain. She has spent hundreds of hours studying this field and has developed a deep passion and respect for our discipline.

Dr. Lukacs is very active in organized dentistry. She is currently a Fellow in the American College of Dentists, Secretary/Treasurer of the Southern California component of the American College of Dentists, Trustee to the California Dental Association and Past President of the San Diego County Dental Society.

    Dear Dr. Halligan & Andrea,

It's really hard for me to put into words how thankful & blessed I am for your help & treatment for the past year. I remember how discouraged & sad I felt & I'm so happy now that I'm way better!

My jaws are doing well & I'm still always careful of what I chew. My braces are coming off soon! You guys are always so sweet & nice. It was truely amazing having you guys as my TMJ specialists. Both of you are very encouraging & I thank you for everything you've done for me & my jaws!

    God Bless & Merry Christmas!

    Love,
    Elise W.
